The CVCA issues the Villager five times a year. This includes a special holiday edition and an expanded spring edition to coincide with the Charles Village festival (the first weekend of June). Inquiries about the Villager should be directed to Sandy Sparks.

Cancelled for June 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

 

The first weekend in June, Wyman Park Dell is the place for live music, beer and wine garden, food galore, Artisan’s Alley and business vendors, kids’ and family activities and also features a nearby 5K Race. The Charles Village Community Foundation presents this annual festival in partnership with CVCA, Charles Village Recreation League, Friends of Wyman Park Dell and the Village Learning Place. Tour the great diversity of beautiful backyard gardens on Sunday of the Charles Village Festival. 

Help us create a Virtual Garden Walk through Charles Village’s private gardens and parks.

Organized yearly by the Village Learning Place, the Spaghetti Disco is always a few event to dance the night away and eat a lot of spaghetti. Disco attire and smiles are encouraged. Family friendly.

This is a nationwide affirmation of the role of community in preventing crime. Please join your neighbors in this powerful statement that cohesive communities are healthier and safer communities. Typically several gatherings are scheduled in the Northern Police District, including through the Charles Village Civic Association hosted at Saint Philip and James Church, 2801 N. Charles St on the first Tuesday in August.
