Snowflake Tour of Charles Village Homes

December

Greater Charles Village in North Central Baltimore invites you to visit festively-decorated and artistically-furnished homes from grand 1890s three-story to 1910s two-story porch fronts. Includes admission to JHU's 1800s Homewood House Museum. Enjoy a diversity of holiday hospitality along the way. Benefits the VLP and CVCA. Tour begins at the 1896 Village Learning Place at 2521 St. Paul Street. On street parking.

Thanks to our sponsors, neighbors can enjoy free live music at the Waverly Commons, Peabody Heights Brewery Beer Garden, Wyman Park Dell, and other spaces throughout Greater Charles Village. June

The first weekend in June, Wyman Park Dell is the place for live music, a beer and wine garden, food galore, Artisan’s Alley, business vendors, kids’ and family activities, and a 5K Race. The Charles Village Community Foundation presents this annual festival in partnership with CVCA, Charles Village Recreation League, Friends of Wyman Park Dell, and the Village Learning Place. June

Each year, more than 200 visitors tour the great diversity of beautiful backyard gardens on Sunday of the Charles Village Festival. The Garden Walk showcases an eclectic range of styles throughout the neighborhood, from conservation gardens to urban chic, established gems, and those just beginning their green journeys.

February/March

Organized yearly by the Village Learning Place, the Spaghetti Disco is always a fun event to dance the night away and eat a lot of spaghetti. Disco attire and smiles are encouraged. Family friendly.

Night Out

August

This is a nationwide affirmation of the role of community in preventing crime. Please join your neighbors in this powerful statement that cohesive communities are healthier and safer communities. Typically several gatherings are scheduled in the Northern Police District, including through the Charles Village Civic Association hosted at Saint Philip and James Church, 2801 N. Charles St on the first Tuesday in August.
